I started Urban Halifax in 2019 as a Grade 12 student at Halifax West High School.
Initially, I focused on urban planning, municipal politics, and city issues. As the blog grew, so did the scope of the content.
As the COVID-19 Pandemic hit Nova Scotia, Urban Halifax became Nova Scotia's most popular Facebook Page, reaching hundreds of thousands of readers every week with up-to-date COVID-19 information and commentary on the state of the pandemic.
I've never shied away from sharing my opinions on politics and current affairs. A strong supporter of the policies and government of Premier Stephen McNeil, I use my platform to share my forward-looking, inclusive, pro-growth vision for Nova Scotia. I believe our best days are ahead, and I believe in the power of social media to affect change.
In addition to building Urban Halifax, I worked as a staffer at the Nova Scotia Liberal Caucus Office under Premier Stephen McNeil. I also served as Director of Communications for Mark Marissen's 2022 Vancouver Mayoral Campaign, spending three months living in beautiful British Columbia.
I currently serve as President of the Bedford Basin Liberal Association and am a student at Dalhousie University.
